Ado and Mattia are very experienced in working with interpreters, they understand what we need perfectly, so every hour of this course is focused and well spent.
The online organization worked very smoothly, no technical hiccups of any kind. I especially liked the fact that you get all the course material in advance, so you can print it and have a look at it before the course itself.
Before I started, I was worried I would end up with a pounding headache after every lesson (which was my experience with zoom/skype before this course). But Ado and Mattia make the lessons fun and challenging in a good way, so you end up being interested and motivated the whole time.

Aimed at comprehension – exactly what interpreters need for their work.
All materials authentic, and they will promptly appear in your Dropbox the day before.
You will need a printer, to get the daily load of 30-40 pages of your Italian-waiting-to-happen; actually more than you’ll be able to processs during the class. So, lots of materials to revisit, as well as indications for further reading/watching/listening.
Overall, an extremely useful and satisfying experience with a teacher who senses and responds to your needs.

The course is very well structured, completely designed to meet the needs of interpreters who are willing to add Italian. However, the course is not limited to only interpreters.
Each day a new topic is covered with the focus on vocabulary and comprehension. The subjects are very well chosen, they include cultural, social, political situation in Italy that broaden one’s understanding, but also there are a lot of everyday topics covered which we need to know as interpreters. The trainers are very aware of the needs of interpreters, very nice, the best I’ve ever had.

Il corso mantiene tutto ciò che promette sul sito web. Gli insegnanti sono bravissimi, sempre gentili e disponibili, e riescono a presentare anche temi piuttosto pesanti o tecnici – ma molto utili per traduttori/interpreti – in modo stimolante. Il lavoro sul lessico basato su testi e ascolti tratti da documentari, interviste e altre fonti è molto efficace.
